Friday 20th

Congratulations kids! The play was very good.
Well done! You were fantastic!!

César couldn’t rehearse because he had been ill, but he did it very well.

We had a festival. We performed our play and we also went to see the shows that our friends did.

We ate chocolates.
We listened to Christmas carols.
Sara likes “Rudolph, the reindeer.” I like “The twelve days of Christmas.”
And we made a cut & paste snowman.

It was very tiring!!! But we enjoyed a lot!!

Remember that we have class on Monday.
We are going to make Christmas cards and also Christmas crackers.

Christmas is near... Let's act out a play!

Friday 13th

As I told you, we prepared our Christmas Play for next week.
You are very good actors!!!

First, we learnt some words about Christmas.

Can you draw…

a Christmas tree? A Christmas cane? A fireplace? A reindeer? Cristmas decorations? A bell? A present?
Can you draw Father Christmas?

After that, we prepared our Christmas play. It is about Christmas Eve and Father Christmas preparations.

Don’t forget that Raúl is Father Christmas. And the rest of you are elves. You have to wear green clothes for the elves. But we can have elves dressed in different colours. If you prefer blue or yellow or pink., you can wear clothes in those colours.

You were fantastic in the rehearsal. You are going to perform very well.
Keep practising!!!! See you on Friday. You, too, César.

Thanksgiving Day and stories

Friday 29th – Saturday 30th

Last week we had two days of class and we did lots of funny things!!!

We have a new classmate. Hello Sara! How are you?
Sara likes dancing and acting.

On Friday we I told you a story about Indians and people who went to America.
The people who went to America didn’t have houses and were hungry. The Indians helped them. They made houses and showed them to get food from the fields. To say thank you, everybody, the new people and the Indians had a party. They celebrated with a big, big party. And with lots and lots of food. They ate turkey and sweet potatoes and pumpkin pie. Yummy, yummy!

And that is why we coloured beautiful turkeys in class!

It was really funny. After colouring our turkeys, we acted out the story!

We listened to a song about different kinds of balls for different sports and we
Bounced, bounced!!!

On Saturday…

…we learnt these words: ball, hat, sausages, window, shop, park, bench and bikes.

Do you remember the story of the naughty dog?
The girls said, “That’s his ball.”
The man said, “Those are my sausages.”
The old woman said, “That’s my hat.”
And the girls said, “These are our bikes.”

And, of course, you acted out the story! You are great actors!

We played “Simon says”
And you coloured beautiful Christmas stockings! While you were listening to Christmas carols.

César didn’t come to class on Saturday. Did you forget?

This week we don’t have class but in our next class we have to prepare our Christmas play.

See you next week.
