Egg Hunting 'The Golden Egg'

Friday 11th April

Hello! Easter holidays!!!

Raúl, David and Eva didn’t come to English on Friday, I’m sure they had started their holidays. Happy holidays kids, to all of you.

It is Easter, so we coloured a picture of an Easter egg.

The Easter egg had a pattern with circles and triangles.
·         How many circles are there?
·         There are six circles on the Easter egg.
·         How many triangles are there?
·         There are ten triangles on the Easter egg.

We looked for words in a word square.

It had the shape of a rabbit, of course, the Easter bunny.
Do you remember some of the words?
Easter eggs, egg hunting, basket, decoration, Sunday, spring, bunny.

On Easter Sunday we go egg hunting. I like Easter eggs and the Easter bunny.

We watched a video. The story was called ‘The golden egg’
There is egg hunting and the kids look for chocolate eggs everywhere. They have to find the golden egg. They looked for the egg in the corn, in the grass, under the sticks, behind the bricks…but they could not find it. The two little aliens found the golden egg. But the girl was so sad that the aliens gave her the golden egg and the they got on their spaceship and left the earth.

End of Term Food Tasting Party

Friday 28th March

So, this was the last day of the second term!

We had a wonderful party!
We tasted the food you had prepared with the help of your mums and dads. You are still too young to use the oven on your own. It’s dangerous.

Everything was yummy! (Tasty, delicious)

César brought “German biscuits”. Really nice!
Lucía’s cupcakes looked beautiful with their little hearts and pearly decorations!
Ángela’s “crab sandwiches” were delicious. It was good to have something salty amongst so many sweet things!
David made wonderful brownies.
Sara’s “palmiers” were fantastic.
Eva and Raúl made cakes. They had different flavour but both of them were delicious!

We ate a lot, we played games and of course, you made a presentation telling us how you had made your dishes. You told us the ingredients and how to prepare it!

Well done little chefs!!

Thank you very much for your effort and thank you to your mums and dads for taking part in our end of term event! For helping you to cook and for attending to our little party!!

Congratulations to our Games’ winners!!!

First place: César
Second place: Sara

See you on Friday!
