I hope everybody will be in class tomorrow because our play is on Tuesday 24th June. It’s taking place in the library, José Saramago. We will perform the plays from 10-12a.m. Be punctual and come a bit earlier, 9.50 for example.

Rehearsal!!!

Friday 6th June

 Hello kids!

Are you ready to rehearse the play today?
But first, we are going to play and to learn about food.

Last week we rehearsed (practised) with our princesses, our fairy, our queen, Lord Salam and with only one soldier, because David didn’t come to class.
I can’t believe Raúl didn’t tell about the play to his parents! Today we are going to talk about our fancy dresses for the play. There’s only one week left!
And we have to study our parts!

This is the fancy dress for soldiers. You can use a white plastic bag (dustbin bags) for the ‘dress’ and glue the red cross made of paper. Another plastic bag or piece of fabric (textile material- maybe a shawl (pashmina) or a beach wrap (pareo) for the cloak. (tied around the neck)
Grey shirt and grey or black leggings or tracksuit bottoms. (trousers) and a plastic sword. (You can make it from cardboard if you want. The material boxes are
made).

Before the rehearsal of the play, we reviewed vocabulary playing games.

And we put on and took off clothes to our paper dolls.
