I love my dad because... Happy Father's Day!

How are you? I’m fine, thank you. And you?

In today’s lesson we continued talking about our body.

We did a picture dictation.

Draw a big circle. Draw two eyes inside the circle. Draw the eyebrows above the eyes. Draw the nose between the eyes. Draw the mouth under the nose. Draw some teeth in the mouth. Draw one ear outside the circle, on the left. Draw the other ear on the right. Draw the neck under the face. Colour the cheeks, red. Draw the hair on the head.

These are not parts of the body but you can draw them, too. A beard, a moustache, earrings.

We played a game to learn prepositions.

·      Eva go behind Ángela.

·      Raúl, go in front of David.

·      César go between Lucía and Sara.

We played ‘mime and guess’ to review vocabulary about the house and the playground.

Where am I? In the bedroom, in the kitchen, in the garden…

Where am I? On the slide, on the swing, sitting on a bench.

And we finish the class making a Father’s Day Card and a present for our daddy.

‘I love my dad because…’

·      Raúl loves his dad because he cooks very well.

·      Sara loves her dad because he is very good-looking.

·      Eva loves her dad because he is very good.

·      Ángela loves her dad because he looks after her.

·      David loves his dad because he plays with him.

·      César loves his dad because he plays with him and looks after him.

·      Lucía loves her dad because he is lovely.
