Welcome to the Circus!


Friday 21st and Friday 28th

We started our class with questions!

·           What’s this? It’s a folder.
·           What are these? They are folders.
·           What’s this? It’s a sharpener.
·           What are these? They are books.
·           What’s this? It’s a colour pencil.
·           What are these? They are colour pencils.

We listened and matched.

·           Where is the rubber duck? It’s in the bath, in the bathroom.
·           Where’s the computer? It’s on the table, in the bedroom.
·           Where’s the clock? It’s on the wall, in the kitchen.
·           Where’s the armchair? It’s under the window, in the living room.

We wrote the numbers so as to find a secret code:

Thirteen and three is ______ = m
Twelve and two is ________ = l        14   15   16    20
Fifteen and five is ________ = p        __    __   __   __
Twelve and three is ______ = a

We played “Hangman” and “Simon Says”.

And we watched a story called “Animal Shelter”
The family wanted to adopt a pet.

Dogs can go for walks.
They can jump and fetch things.
Snakes can be very big or very small.
They can climb.
Rabbits can hop.
They can jump and wiggle their ears.
Cats can catch mice!


What pet did they adopt?
A snake? A cat? A dog? A bird?

A game with "Can"






Yesterday we learnt parts of the body and we played “Simon Says touch your…”

Head – ears – legs- hands – fingers – toes- arms – eyes – body – 
·         Touch your head.
·         Where are your ears?
·         How many fingers do you have?
·         Touch your toes.
·         Put your right hand up.

We make questions to our classmates:

·         Can you swim?            David and Sara can swim.
·         Can you dive?              Raúl can dive.
·         Can you ski?                Eva can ski.
·         Can you play tennis?  Lucía and Ángela can play tennis.
·         Can you play football? César can play football.

The teacher can’t ski. The teacher can’t play football.

We learnt “Whose is...?”
                                                                        
Whose is the torch?                                   It’s Sara’s.
Whose is the folder?                                 It’s Eva’s.
Whose is the Real Madrid pencil case? It’s David’s.
Whose are the glue sticks?                    They are Lucía and César’s.
Whose are the biscuits?                          They are Raúl’s.
Whose is the pink pencil case?                 It’s Ángela’s.
Whose is the marker?                                 It’s Mariangeles’s

And we learnt about the circus!

The tightrope walker – the trapeze artist – the acrobat – the big top – the lion tamer – the clown and the magician!
